Pakistan ended a grueling three-year wait for an away Test
victory with a dominant eight-wicket win over West Indies in the second Test at
Queen's Park Oval, Trinidad, levelling the two-match series 1-1.

Opting to bat first, West Indies posted 344 in their opening innings, built on solid seventies from Justin Greaves (73) and Roston Chase (70), while spinner Sajid Khan claimed 4 for 85. In reply, Pakistan established a critical 43-run lead, reaching 387 thanks to a magnificent 160 from Abdullah Shafique and a resilient 88 from Babar Azam. Left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican was the standout bowler for the hosts, taking 6 for 112.
The match turned decisively on Day 4 during West Indies’
second innings. Pakistan’s spin tandem of Ali Usman (4 for 39) and Sajid Khan
(4 for 32) ripped through the Caribbean batting line-up, skittling West Indies
for just 117 in 46.1 overs.
Chasing a target of 77 runs, Pakistan lost openers Azan
Awais and Imam-ul-Haq early. However, Abdullah Shafique (24*) and Babar Azam
(24*) comfortably guided the visitors home in 23.3 overs. Babar sealed the
historic triumph in style, launching Jomel Warrican for back-to-back sixes.
Shafique was named Player of the Match for his first-innings masterpiece, while Babar Azam and Justin Greaves shared Player of the Series honors. The victory snapped Pakistan's eight-match overseas losing streak and marked their first Test win in the Caribbean in five years.
