Australia has announced its playing XI for the second Test
against Bangladesh, making one change to the team following their defeat in the
opening match in Darwin.

Opening batter Matthew Renshaw returns to the Test line-up for the first time since 2023, replacing the dropped Jake Weatherald. Meanwhile, veteran spinner Nathan Lyon has retained his place in the side despite discussions surrounding a potential all-pace attack.
The second Test match between Australia and Bangladesh is
scheduled to take place from August 22 to August 26, 2026, at the Great Barrier
Reef Arena in South Mackay, Queensland.
The series comes on the heels of a historic result in the
first Test at Darwin, where Bangladesh defeated Australia by nine wickets to
claim their first-ever Test victory on Australian soil.
