India had to dealt with a number of injuries in the UK tour

The Indian squad faced multiple injury setbacks that severely disrupted their campaign in the recently concluded 3-match ODI series in England against Engalnd. Surely these cost India the series which would have been otherwise easily won!

Injuries During the ODI Series

* Washington Sundar (Hamstring Strain): Sustained a right hamstring injury during the second ODI in Cardiff. He was subsequently ruled out of the third and final match of the series and was replaced by Harsh Dubey in the squad.

* Jasprit Bumrah (Knee Injury): India's pace spearhead suffered an impact injury to his left knee while fielding during the second ODI in Cardiff. Due to reactive swelling, he was ruled out of the critical series-deciding third ODI at Lord's.

Injuries Leading into the ODI Series

* Harshit Rana (Hamstring Injury): Suffered a hamstring injury during the preceding third T20I against England. This sidelined him from the entire three-match ODI series, and Prince Yadav was named as his replacement in the squad.

* Nitish Kumar Reddy (Quadriceps Injury): Sustained a quadriceps injury prior to the tour. He failed to recover in time and was officially replaced in the ODI squad by Shivam Dube ahead of the first ODI.
