Bangladesh roared back to register an emphatic 34-run
victory over Zimbabwe in the second T20 International at the Queens Sports
Club, leveling the three-match series 1-1.

Put into bat first, Bangladesh capitalized on a sloppy
fielding performance by the hosts. Openers Saif Hassan (55) and Tanzid Hasan
(58) put on a spectacular 120-run opening stand to dismantle the attack. Though
Zimbabwe clawed back with quick wickets, an explosive finish changed
everything. Mohammad Saifuddin smashed four massive sixes in a 28-run final
over, remaining unbeaten on 31 off just 10 balls to propel Bangladesh to a
formidable 186/5.
Chasing 187, Zimbabwe's innings never found any real rhythm against a disciplined spin attack. The hosts suffered a rapid top-order collapse and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Ryan Burl (29) and skipper Sikandar Raza (28) tried to launch a recovery, but no batsman could cross the 30-run threshold.
Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain led the bowling wreckage with stellar figures of 4 for 26, while Mahedi Hasan chipped in with 3 for 24. Zimbabwe was eventually bowled out for 152 in 19.4 overs. The action now shifts to the final match, where both teams will battle for the series silverware.
